About me

My name is Paula Simon.

I am an Early Years Professional registered childminder with Ofsted, and the proud Owner/Director of Little Seeds Childcare - home from home . I have four children of my own with my husband Allan. I have over 30 years of childcare experience which includes: 13 years service at BBC Woodlands Nursery (White City), caring for children from 3 months to 5 years of age.

A further 13 years working in Nurseries and Social Services within the Boroughs of Westminster and Lambeth.

In my latter years within childcare, I have had the pleasure of managing several nurseries within the private and public sector in South London. My range of experience extends to supporting children with additional needs including Moebius Syndrome, Autism, Speech and Language Delay, and supporting children with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy).

About Little Seeds Childcare

As a young child growing up, my ambition was to one day own my own business, so in the last few years with all of my children having grown up, I believe that this is now the time for this to happen.

Here at Little Seeds Childcare, a ‘family’ atmosphere has been created, where children are able to feel secure, safe and loved. A playroom has been dedicated to enhance the ‘home from home’ feel to the day.

Your child will have access to a large garden that provides them with a safe place for their physical development, fresh air and an opportunity to interact with nature, and supports my ethos with elements of Montessori and the Curiosity Approach.

The learning that takes place is supported within the Early Years Curriculum, (EYFS, 2017).
